University of Medical Technology, Yangon

History

         Institute of Paramedical Science, Yangon was established in 1991, at Thaton Road, Kamayut Township, Yangon.

In 2001  the  institute was move to Insein Township.  The Mathematics course at the Institute of Paramedical Sciences

commenced in  1994-95  academic year with 66  matriculated students.    Daw Khin Aye Nwe  (Head&Lecturer)   and

Daw Aye Maw (Assistant Lecturer) from Department of Mathematics, Institute of Medicine (I) took the responsibility

to teach mathematics. Mathematics is taught as a subject only to the first year students.
